这是一首菲律宾人引以为傲的歌曲。 可以叫她菲律宾民谣。
歌手Freddie Aguilar 曾经很潦倒, 过着乞丐一样的生活。
在他最为潦倒的时候, 他的孩子降临到这个世界上了。他把他的爱，他的彷徨，他的眼泪都写到了歌里。
就是这首用真情谱写的歌曲，在马尼拉的第一届[都会流行音乐节]唱大赛上获得第一次银奖的荣誉，并且推出了[Anak]专集。
后来她的英语版本，也就是[Child]在各地流传开来。
没有多久，这首歌就在日本与欧洲打进排行的前十名，并且卖出了超过六百万张，先后至少出现过二十种语言、五十多种翻唱的版本。
记得写歌的时候是1978年。
据说在菲律宾，这首歌仅次于国歌的地位。
